Over the course of the 12 week / 3 month plan we will implement a range of changes to address your health concerns, tweaking and following up every two weeks (a total of 6 sessions) for enhanced accountability and maximum support.
Before starting the program, you will be asked to fill in an extensive questionnaire about your past and current medical history, lifestyle, as well as a 3-day food diary. This is where seeking a qualified professional really pays off, as I will study your answers thoroughly and know exactly how to interpret them. It will lay the foundations for your plan and our work together.

During the first hour-long consultation we will discuss your health concerns in depth, set a timeline for how those will be addressed, and I will share some immediate action points to kick start your journey to better health and wellbeing.
Two weeks later, we will catch up to discuss how those initial changes are fitting into your routine ,and I will provide a detailed food and supplementation plan which we will discuss together.
During the month following, we will have 2 sessions: a 40-minute follow up to review the plan, discuss the results of any tests that have been carried out, and implement further action points. We will also have an additional 20-minute ‘accountability session’, designed to help you develop healthy habits that will stick for life and in time, further tweak the plan to your evolving needs using what you’ve learned.
In the final month, we will have a 40-minute follow up to discuss how the plan is going and improve it further by implementing additional action points. The last session of your 12 week plan will be a 30-minute wrap up session to set out a strategy to maintain the results you’ve achieved.
- Review of your questionnaire to assess where you are in your health journey and what your needs are, as well as how any supplementation or medication you are on currently interacts with your diet
- Initial 1-hour consultation where we dive deep into certain areas related to your health concerns and start discussing the first action points.
- Bespoke plan to be discussed together 2 weeks after the initial consultation
- 3 follow up sessions (2x approx. 40 mins, 1x approx. 20 mins) after the 2 week catch-up call to discuss the progress made and tweak the plan to achieve the next agreed goals
- Final session to further tweak the plan in order to create lasting changes to your eating habits that will benefit you long into the future
- 10% discount on any supplement recommendation
- 10% on gut health functional tests
- Digital and printable information sheets to help you stick to the plan
- Recipes booklets and 7-day meal schedule to help you incorporate the suggestions into daily life
I offer consultation via 3 different plans, with the 8 week and 12 week plans consisting of 3 and 6 sessions respectively. Three sessions is the minimum needed to achieve tangible results, which is why there isn’t a plan shorter than 8 weeks (other than the diet review). I would encourage committing to the 12 week/6 session plan, but 3 sessions is a great starting point. Further sessions can be booked ad hoc if needed. The diet review service consists of 1 appointment and a catch-up call a month after and is for clients who wish to review and seek a professional opinion of their current diet, but is not suitable to address health conditions.
Nutritional Therapy aims to create long lasting change. Those changes will be gradual but definitive, differently from allopathic medicine that aims to suppress symptoms for immediate relief. As each person is unique, also the speed on which results will be obtained is different and this is also impacted by how closely the suggested nutritional and supplemental plan is followed.
The main source of nutrients is wholefoods, and the plans are aimed to provide adequate nutrient levels for each client. Supplementation may be recommended only for a short period of time in case of significant nutrient deficiencies or to kick start your body systems. Food Power Nutrition does not have any affiliation with any supplement company and specific supplements are suggested because of their unique therapeutic properties.
Packages’ payments will be divided monthly and an upfront payment is required to access the sessions.
Understanding we all lead busy lives, I can reschedule or cancel appointments without any charge if communicated with more than 48 hours notice. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the consultation time will be charged at 50%. Appointments cancelled or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time will be charged at 100%. A delay of more than 15 minutes for your consultation will lead to the appointment being cancelled and charged at 100%.
Food Power provides online consultations via a dedicated platform. Online consultations will be held via telehealth/zoom and can be easily accessed via the client’s “Practice Better” portal. Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. Nutritional therapy practitioners use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. This approach allows them to work with individuals to address nutritional balance and help support the body towards maintaining health. Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine. It is relevant both for individuals looking to enhance their health and wellbeing and for those with chronic conditions wishing to work with or ‘consult’ a nutritional therapist in collaboration with other suitably qualified healthcare professionals. Practitioners consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Practitioners never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice and always refer any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional. They will also frequently work alongside a medical professional and will communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care to explain any nutritional therapy programme that has been provided.
