My official qualifications are Nutritional Therapist, DipCNM, mBANT, mCNHC.
This means that I have a college degree in Nutritional Therapy from CNM (College of Naturopathic Medicine). I am a registered member of BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).
I am also a member of the Royal Society of Medicine, as well as a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity, awarded by the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED).
I have further trained with DNA Life, completing their DNA Certification courses in DNA Core (Health, Diet, Sports and Core), DNA Hormones and DNA Gut.
No. I offer online consultations via Practice Better (telehealth/Zoom), which you can access through your client portal.
In-person initial consultations are available on Wednesday afternoons at Angel Gyms, 48 Provost St, London N1 7SU. All follow-up sessions are held online.
It can be. I’m registered with CNHC, and a member of BANT, and some UK health cash plans recognise CNHC registration for reimbursement of nutritional therapy (depending on your policy and level of cover).
Cover varies by provider and plan, so please check your policy documents and confirm what’s included before booking.
You’ll receive an email from Practice Better requesting confirmation of your appointment. Your appointment is considered booked once payment (or deposit) has been received and your completed questionnaire has been submitted.
If payment isn’t received or the questionnaire isn’t submitted, your appointment will be rescheduled.
The usual waiting time from a discovery call to the initial session is around 10 days, but it can be influenced by test results (if testing with one of the packages) and the time needed to complete the intake questionnaire.
I understand plans change. You can cancel or reschedule at no charge with more than 48 hours’ notice.
For online sessions, if your internet connection disrupts communication, I may need to end or reschedule the appointment, as a stable connection is essential for a productive session.
If you’d like to talk it through first, you can book a free discovery call to discuss your health concerns, the most suitable service, and costs. Please feel free to ask for information via the contact form, specifying if you wish to be contacted via email or via phone. I am happy to offer a free discovery call to discuss your current health concerns and explore how we can work together.
Food Power Nutrition is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and all queries will be answered during these times.
There is flexibility in appointments to meet your needs, offering online-only evening sessions until 7.30 pm and on Saturday morning from 10 am until 12 pm.
Food Power Nutrition is an ICO compliant practice. All information provided via questionnaire and during the consultations are treated as confidential and won’t be disclosed without your consent. Consultations will be held via telehealth, a HIPAA approved video consultancy platform used by medical providers.Payments, personal information and sensitive data are managed with “Practice Better”, a HIPAA and GDPR compliant platform. You will have full access to your patient portal with your records, test results and appointment reports.
Your records will be stored for 5 years, as per BANT and CNHC guidance.
Starting your route back to health can be daunting. Arrange a call with no obligation and I will discuss your issue and how I can help.
