Can I purchase a genetic test without booking a consultation?
Yes, you can purchase a test via Food Power Nutrition (which will place the test order for you) without booking a consultation.
If you’d like a personalised nutrition plan based on your genetic test results, please book it at the time of purchase. The cost of the 1-hour session to go through the genetic test results and your personalised recommendations is from £245.
How are the genetic test samples taken?
Samples are collected via blood spot, which means results are far more accurate than those from saliva swabs.
How long does it take to receive test results?
Results for both functional and genetic tests take between 14 and 21 days to be released from the lab.
Is it compulsory to have a discovery call before starting?
It is highly recommended to book the best package and discuss timings. The discovery call is an opportunity to understand whether I can genuinely help and for you to ask all the questions you might have before we start working together.
Instead of a call, we can also communicate via email if it is your preferred method.
The only immediate service that doesn’t require an initial discovery call is the purchase of a genetic test.

What is genetic testing?
Genetic testing analyses an individual’s DNA to identify predispositions to health conditions, how they may react to specific nutrients, and how nutrients can influence the expression of specific genes.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments can be settled by bank transfer or via Stripe, which is a secure payment method that supports all major debit and credit cards.
