Low carb diet

There is no standard definition of the percentage of carbohydrate intake in a low carb diet, but many scientific papers consider a very low carb diet if the carbs intake is less than 10% energy, low between 10% and 26%, moderate between 26% and 45%, and high more than 45%. It is important to keep in mind that vegetables are also a source of carbohydrates because of their fibre content.
