Functional Test & Personalised Plan

If you want clarity, targeted functional testing can remove guesswork. I’ll help you choose the most appropriate practitioner-only test for your symptoms and goals, then interpret your results in context and turn them into a clear, personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan.

Where appropriate, I can also liaise with your GP/primary healthcare provider.

How It Works

  • Book your package
Choose the Functional Test & Personalised Plan and secure a suitable appointment time (online UK-wide or in-clinic in London).
  • Complete your intake (so I can prep properly)
You’ll receive a short health questionnaire and instructions for a 3-day food diary. I review these in detail before we meet.
  • Choose the right practitioner-only test (if appropriate)
Based on your symptoms and goals, I’ll recommend the most suitable functional test and arrange a practitioner booking. You’ll also receive an exclusive practitioner discount on recommended tests and supplements.
  • Complete the test at home
Follow the test instructions and return your sample to the lab. (Different tests have different requirements — I’ll guide you.)
  • Results interpretation + clear action plan (60 minutes)
In your 1-hour consultation, I interpret your results in context and translate them into a personalised plan (food, lifestyle and supplements where appropriate). You’ll receive supporting factsheets and practical next steps.
  • Safety and coordination (where needed)
Where relevant, I can review medication–nutrient interactions and liaise with your GP/primary healthcare provider to support safe implementation.

Success Stories

< >

I was looking for a certified nutritional therapist in London and got in touch with Lucia a few months after giving birth. I was breastfeeding my baby, experiencing hormonal unbalances and my thyroid levels were all over the place. Lucia helped me to get through that amazing but challenging time with an easy-to-follow food plan that allowed me to feel energized and healthy. It was simple but extremely effective and realistic for me as a first time mom! She gave me so many alternatives and suggestions! Also…I got back my body!!!

Hormonal Imbalance

I had been suffering with histamine intolerance for 2 years after taking antibiotics. I cut out so many foods, that, at one point I was only eating boiled chicken, carrots, green beans and rice; I spent so much money on different supplements and still I was not getting better.I was so desperate, I was not getting any help from the NHS.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay the Packages and Weeks Plan in instalments?

Yes you can – multi session services can be paid in instalments. A 50% of the total fee will be required ahead of the first appointment, then the remaining 50% can be paid a month after the first invoice, or can be further divided in 2 invoices. Please note that tests costs are on the top of the package fee and will be paid directly to the Lab (Nordic Labs). The exception is genetic test, which costs is included in the package.

How is the Gut Health Test package structured?

The Gut Health Test Package consists of one 1-hour initial consultation and four follow-ups, lasting between 30 and 45 minutes.

During our first consultation, we will go through the GI360 test results as well as a comprehensive assessment of all your body systems’ health, with the aim of joining the dots and finding the root cause of your symptoms based on the test findings and questionnaire information.

After the initial consultation, a personalised plan, as well as current and future action points, will be published on Practice Better.

During our follow-up consultations, we will discuss what worked and what didn’t, and move on to the following action points.

Do I have to purchase the recommended supplements, or can I buy similar ones?

I limit my supplement protocol to the bare minimum to help you overcome nutritional insufficiencies/deficiencies or to kick-start specific metabolic processes and pathways.

While certain supplements might seem expensive compared to high street alternatives, I suggest high-quality products that will exert the desired effect in the least amount of time and truly make a difference to your health.

How long does it take to receive test results?

Results for both functional and genetic tests take between 14 and 21 days to be released from the lab.

How often will the appointments be?

I recommend scheduling follow-up appointments every two to a maximum of 3 weeks to ensure an adequate level of care and obtain the best results from your plan.

Spacing sessions a month or more apart will hinder the efficacy of working together, as constant support and fine-tuning of the plan leads to better results both in the short and long term.

Is Nutritional Therapy covered by any insurance or private health cash plan?

It can be. I’m registered with CNHC, and a member of BANT, and some UK health cash plans recognise CNHC registration for reimbursement of nutritional therapy (depending on your policy and level of cover).

Cover varies by provider and plan, so please check your policy documents and confirm what’s included before booking.
