Hormone Balance Package (DUTCH+ Test + 1:1 Support)

A structured hormone assessment programme using the DUTCH+ dried urine hormone test to help identify what’s driving symptoms such as irregular or painful periods, severe PMS, acne, mood changes, low energy, stress-related sleep disruption, and perimenopause/PCOS/endometriosis-related concerns. I interpret your results alongside your symptoms, health history and food diary, then create a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan with follow-up support to implement it properly.

Designed to replace guesswork with clear data and a practical plan.

Success Stories

I was looking for a certified nutritional therapist in London and got in touch with Lucia a few months after giving birth. I was breastfeeding my baby, experiencing hormonal unbalances and my thyroid levels were all over the place. Lucia helped me to get through that amazing but challenging time with an easy-to-follow food plan that allowed me to feel energized and healthy. It was simple but extremely effective and realistic for me as a first time mom! She gave me so many alternatives and suggestions! Also…I got back my body!!!

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the testing packages and the 1:1 plans?

With functional testing, we can move beyond guesswork and identify potential contributors to your symptoms. That extra data helps me build a more targeted, efficient plan and focus on the interventions most likely to make a difference.

Testing packages are ideal if you want to reduce trial and error, investigate potential root drivers in more depth, and take a clear, evidence-led approach.

Can I pay the Packages and Weeks Plan in instalments?

Yes you can – multi session services can be paid in instalments. A 50% of the total fee will be required ahead of the first appointment, then the remaining 50% can be paid a month after the first invoice, or can be further divided in 2 invoices. Please note that tests costs are on the top of the package fee and will be paid directly to the Lab (Nordic Labs). The exception is genetic test, which costs is included in the package.

How long will it take to see results?

It varies. Some people notice changes within a few weeks after implementing the key recommendations, while deeper, longer-term issues can take longer to shift. Your timeline depends on your starting point, what we’re addressing, and how consistently you can follow the plan.

My focus is sustainable, long-term improvement — not quick fixes — and we’ll agree on realistic expectations as part of your assessment.

What should I expect to achieve working together?

You can expect a personalised, practical plan tailored to your symptoms, history, and goals, with clear priorities and measurable steps. Results vary from person to person, but progress is most substantial when you implement the recommendations consistently, attend follow-up sessions where relevant, and use supplements/testing only where appropriate.

We’ll discuss realistic expectations and goals during your discovery call so you know exactly what we’re aiming for and how we’ll measure progress.

If I need more follow up sessions, do I need to book a new package?

Not necessarily. We’ll review your progress as we go. If you’d like continued support after your package, existing clients can book 45-minute follow-up sessions every two weeks (or as needed) for £85 per session.

What is the cancellation policy?

I understand plans change. You can cancel or reschedule at no charge with more than 48 hours’ notice.

  • Within 48 hours of your appointment: 50% fee
  • Within 24 hours of your appointment: 100% fee
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session will be cancelled and charged at 100%

For online sessions, if your internet connection disrupts communication, I may need to end or reschedule the appointment, as a stable connection is essential for a productive session.

What should I do if I have questions between appointments?

You can contact me by email at lucia@foodpowernutrition.com or via the Practice Better chat for support between sessions.

I aim to reply within one working day. Please note my working hours are 9 am–6 pm, Monday to Friday, so messages sent outside these times may be answered the next working day.

Does Food Power Nutrition operate only online?

No. I offer online consultations via Practice Better (telehealth/Zoom), which you can access through your client portal.

In-person initial consultations are available on Wednesday afternoons at Angel Gyms, 48 Provost St, London N1 7SU. All follow-up sessions are held online.

What happens if I don’t complete the questionnaire 72 hours before my appointment?

If you realise you won’t be able to complete the questionnaire in time, please get in touch with me at least 72 hours before your appointment to reschedule.

The questionnaire (and reading the T&Cs) is essential for me to prepare correctly and deliver a high-quality consultation. If it isn’t completed, I won’t be able to go ahead with the initial appointment.

When is an appointment considered booked?

You’ll receive an email from Practice Better requesting confirmation of your appointment. Your appointment is considered booked once payment (or deposit) has been received and your completed questionnaire has been submitted.

If payment isn’t received or the questionnaire isn’t submitted, your appointment will be rescheduled.

Will I get supplement recommendations with every plan?

Not necessarily. Food is always the foundation, and my plans are designed to help you meet your nutrient needs through whole foods wherever possible.

Supplements may be recommended only when appropriate—for example, to address a confirmed deficiency, support a specific goal, or as a short-term support while you implement dietary changes. I’m not affiliated with any supplement company; any recommendations are based on their suitability for your needs.

What’s the difference between a nutritional therapist, nutrition coach and nutritionist?

In the UK, these titles can mean different things — and they’re not all regulated in the same way.

  • Nutritional therapist: Typically trained to work 1:1 using nutrition and lifestyle to support health and wellbeing, often in a more clinical, root-cause style. Many practitioners choose to be BANT members and CNHC registered, which adds professional standards and accountability.

  • Nutritionist: The title “nutritionist” isn’t legally protected in the UK so that anyone can use it. However, people on the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN) through the Association for Nutrition can use titles such as Registered Nutritionist (RNutr).

  • Nutrition coach: Often focused on habits, motivation and accountability. “Coach” isn’t a protected title, so training and scope can vary widely.

If you’re choosing someone, check their qualifications, professional registration, and whether their scope aligns with your needs. (For completeness: “dietitian” is a protected title regulated by the HCPC.)

Is Nutritional Therapy covered by any insurance or private health cash plan?

It can be. I’m registered with CNHC, and a member of BANT, and some UK health cash plans recognise CNHC registration for reimbursement of nutritional therapy (depending on your policy and level of cover).

Cover varies by provider and plan, so please check your policy documents and confirm what’s included before booking.

How can I get in touch for more information about packages and costs?

If you’d like to talk it through first, you can book a free discovery call to discuss your health concerns, the most suitable service, and costs. Please feel free to ask for information via the contact form, specifying if you wish to be contacted via email or via phone. I am happy to offer a free discovery call to discuss your current health concerns and explore how we can work together.
