by Lucia Stansbie
This is one of the best dessert recipes ever – it tastes delicious and is packed with antioxidants and healthy fats! Is also very easy and quick to make. Avocado is a great source of healthy fats and vitamin E, whilst cocoa powder is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols that will keep their properties as is not cooked in this recipe.
Cocoa powder can have multiple benefits for the cardiovascular system, including lowering cholesterol levels, improving nitric oxide production and so supporting blood flow, and can also increase good mood supporting serotonin production.
Molasses are a great source of plant iron and the fibre in the avocado can help modulating glucose absorption, modulating blood sugar levels. This dessert is also vegan, gluten and dairy free – absolutely everybody can enjoy it!
